A Brand-New Convertible Year

My dictionary defines optimism as "the tendency or disposition to expect the best possible outcome -- to dwell upon the most hopeful aspects of a situation."

So would you classify yourself as a 'full-of-hope' optimist or a hopeless, hapless 'doubting Thomas'?  If you have identified with the latter -- cheer up, my friend! I have exciting news ... just for you.

Yes, you have been selected as a finalist in the Annual Unitic Sweepstakes and you may have already become the winner of a Brand New Convertible Year.  Your valuable prize is still in the box and is worth millions.  It shall be delivered to your very doorstep no later than the first day of January.

This 2002 model is a free gift for you to do with as you may.  Of course, if you choose to convert it into a year of hope and optimism, it will provide you with many miles of driving comfort and joy. In previous contests, winners have sometimes chosen to convert their jackpot prize into escalating pessimism and despair, only to loose the benefits of their luxury gift.

Please do not throw this notification letter away. This is not a hoax. Truly, your Brand New 2002 Convertible can be the new beginning you have been waiting for.  This is the chance of a lifetime. There is something about an untouched new convertible that sparks our psyche to re-ignite the smoldering embers of the previous year's almost forgotten resolutions.

No doubt, you have discovered that hot, passionate optimism can suddenly return to a lukewarm status quo. So consider these various built-in features.  This 2002 model contains within it the Self-generating seed of New Hope.  It is imbued with the very Presence of Spirit, saturating you with the fragrance of unconditional love.

The following rules do apply:  You are under no obligation to buy into anything that you have been offered, but you do have to be present to win.  Under no conditions can you return your prize once it is delivered.  If you do not claim your prize, it will be given to someone else.  If you acknowledge your gift, you will find in the heart compartment the manual for proper operation and support.

"When you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet
at last,"What's the first thing you say to yourself?"

"What's for breakfast?" said Pooh. "What do you
         say, Piglet?"

"I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting
        today," said Piglet.

Pooh nodded thoughtfully, "It's the same thing,"
        he said.

When you awaken on 1/1, step into your brand new year and ask the Universal Spirit of Life: "What's for breakfast?  What exciting happenings are scheduled for today?  I anticipate great things cause I have a great attitude and I accept the good God has for me to share with my world.
